The Youth will be taking a trip to Fiesta Texas for the day on June 25th.  That evening, Christian artist, Jeremy Camp will also be in concert at the park.  The cost for a ticket is $30, and there are meal tickets that are available to be purchased in advance for $10.  Any student that is interested in going must contact Jordan Mims by June 2nd to receive a ticket at the $30 price.  Email him at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot" net or call the church office.

God moved in a mighty way among the guests at the ranch and Church vans had to run double routes on several days. The total enrollment was 299 with 30 professions of faith. Teachers, secretaries, cooks, recreation leaders, and many others shared their time and talents in this wonderful outreach effort. God is so good! It's time to sign-up for Youth Camp!  This summer for camp we are returning to Highland Lakes Camp to attend their Journey Youth Camp during the week of July 11-15th.  The cost for attending camp is $150, and that covers everything.  To sign-up for camp, each camper needs to fill out the camp registration forms and medical release forms.  These forms along with a $25 deposit are due May 30th. Registration forms are available in the church office, or you can e-mail Jordan at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot " net with your mailing address, and they will be mailed out to you.  Please do not let your teenager miss out on this exciting and possible life-changing opportunity.

Most of Beyond Jordan's performances have been in the Central Texas area at various churches and local events. But there are a few notable events at which they have sung:

    * Rockport Gospel Music Festival in January 2010
    * Baptist General Convention of Texas Senior Adult Choir Festival
    * in March 2010
    * and in the Dallas area for a concert featuring renowned
    * Christian pianist, Dino in January 2008
    * Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2007


Beyond Jordan has completed their debut CD and it is available for purchase online at www.beyondjordanmusic.com and will be available at all scheduled performances.

Kelli McMahan lives in Waco, TX and works for Baylor University as the Assistant Director for Campus Recreation over Outdoor Adventure Programs. Kelli is currently pursuing her PhD in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Science at Texas A&M University.

Tara Stafford lives in Temple, TX with her husband James. On March 29 they celebrated the 1st birthday of their baby girl, Sydney Lee! Tara works for the United Way of Central Texas as the Director of Program Development and Community Impact.

Nikki Thompson lives in Baytown, TX near Houston where she is the Head Choir Director at Sterling High School. Nikki recently got engaged to her fiancé, Warren Simpson. They are planning a July wedding in 2010.

At the second meeting on February 25, the Committee adopted a covenant. Click the link below to read the covenant.


The Committee has received 30 resumes and has begun the process of prayerfully rating these candidates. The Search Committee requests you pray that we will be led by the Holy Spirit in all that we do.
